I'm Adjunct Asssistant Professor of Jewish Studies at UW-Milwaukee. My current work looks at how technologies such as holograms and Augmented Reality will change how we encounter Holocaust testimonies -- and, therefore, Holocaust memory itself. I'm also working on a DH project with Jewish Museum Milwaukee, creating a virtual exhibit about a particular Holocaust victim, and using the platform to engage the public in a conversation about Holocaust memory. In my classes, I assign digital storytelling projects and I take my online Holocaust students to the USHMM exhibit in Second Life as a virtual field trip.
